Starting July 21, 2025, Salesforce and Tableau certifications will undergo major name changes as part of a unified certification experience. This move aims to establish consistency across all Salesforce credentials, enhance clarity, and better align with Trailhead Academy’s evolving framework.

Whether you’re a certified admin, developer, consultant, or architect, your certification name may soon look different but your credential remains fully valid.

🔄 Why Are Certification Names Changing?

Salesforce is centralizing all certifications under Trailhead Academy, and with that shift, it’s also updating the naming conventions to create a uniform structure across all certification types.

✅ Do I Need to Re-Certify?

No. All existing certifications will retain their original validity and issue date. The name change will not affect your certification status.

🧾 Will My Trailblazer Profile Be Updated Automatically?

Yes! Your Trailblazer profile will automatically reflect the new certification name starting July 21, 2025.

You can also:

  • Download updated certificates and logos directly from your Trailblazer Profile.
  • Access your certifications list and use the drop-down menu to send the new version to your email.
  • Find your email preferences in Settings > Email Preferences to verify where the certificate is sent.

🔍 Employer Verification & Partner Navigator Score

  • If you’ve opted into certification visibility, employers will see the new certification name along with the original certification date.
  • The new names will automatically update in your Partner Navigator Score, ensuring your progress is reflected correctly.
